NUMBER OF COVID SUFFERERS INCREASING, MINISTRY OF HEALTH ISSUED WARNING

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health has issued a warning as the number of people admitted to hospitals and intensive care units for covid is on the rise. The number of people admitted to wards affected by covid has increased by 37 per cent.


There has been a 47 per cent increase in the number of people admitted to the intensive care unit. 92% of patients in wards are not vaccinated. A spokesman for the Ministry of Health said that 88.5 per cent of those in the intensive care unit had not been vaccinated. Abdullah al-Sanad said. He reiterated the importance of getting the vaccine. The mortality rate for those who have not been vaccinated is 96.1 percent. He also said that everyone should take precautions while wearing a mask and keeping social distance.
