MP BADR-AL HUMAIDI ONCE AGAIN CALLED FOR DEPORTATION OF MENTALLY ILL EXPATRIATES

Kuwait City: Member of Parliament says expats with mental health problems are a threat to the Kuwaiti community. Badr Al-Humaidi, an MP, warned that more than 37,000 expatriates were being treated in psychiatric wards and that their presence posed a serious threat to society. He demanded that all their medical records be removed from the psychiatric hospital and that anyone with symptoms of mental illness be barred from entering the country.


The MP also pointed out the situation where medicines given to mentally ill patients are being sold among the youth in Kuwait. He said the young man stabbed his mother and security guards in Kuwait after he lost consciousness after consuming this type of drug. He has come up with a similar demand before
