Kuwait City: Herds of migratory birds capture the beauty of nature in Kuwait. More than 400 species of migratory birds pass through Kuwait for safe travel due to their favorable habitat. These flocks of birds beautify the beaches and islands of the country. Migratory birds travel long distances across mountains, deserts and oceans. Kuwait has the most favorable breeding conditions.


Migratory birds often travel at night to reach their homeland safely. Kuwait has set up reserve centers for the protection of such birds. Thus, many endangered species have sought refuge in Kuwait.
