YOUNG MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR KILLING WOMEN

Kuwait City: Kuwaiti criminal court has sentenced a young man to death for kidnapping and killing a young woman in Kuwait. The victim was identified as Farah Akbar. There have been four arguments in the case over the past two months. Defendant Fahad Subhi Mohammed was charged with kidnapping, premeditated murder and death threats.


The court found him guilty of kidnapping and killing a young woman. It was also found that the accused had installed a GPS tracking device in the woman's car with the intention of killing her. The incident took place on April 20. He crashed into the woman's car and abducted her and her daughters in the Sabah Al Salem area. After stabbing the woman several times in the chest in front of her children, the defendant fled, leaving the woman in the hospital. Earlier, Farah Akbar had filed two cases against him for allegedly trying to kidnap and kill him.
