Kuwait Records Property Trades Worth KD 367.3 Million in June

Kuwait City: The Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at Kuwait’s Ministry of Justice has revealed that 414 property contracts were traded nationwide in June, with a total value reaching KD 367.3 million (approximately USD 1.2 billion).

According to the statistics published on the Ministry’s website, private real estate contracts dominated activity, with 289 properties worth KD 114.3 million (~USD 377 million). Investment real estate followed closely, with 104 properties valued at KD 163.8 million (~USD 540 million).

Commercial sector deals recorded 11 properties worth KD 73.5 million (~USD 242.5 million). In addition, there were seven craft properties worth KD 8.9 million, one warehouse contract worth KD 1.9 million, and two coastal strip properties totaling KD 4.7 million.

By region, Ahmadi Governorate led with 137 contracts, followed by Hawalli with 89, the Capital Governorate with 75, Farwaniya with 44, Mubarak Al-Kabeer with 35, and Jahra with 32 contracts.

The Ministry confirmed that the figures reflect steady momentum in Kuwait’s real estate market, spanning private, investment, commercial, and coastal sectors.
