Muscat: As the Kharif season attracts thousands of tourists to Dhofar, the Royal Oman Police has rolled out enhanced safety measures to protect visitors and ensure smooth travel across the region.
Dedicated station points with Civil Defense and Ambulance Department contacts have been set up in various areas, with emergency help available through the 24-hour toll-free number 9999. Authorities have also launched a QR code system to help tourists easily access important services and information.
Travel distance posters and additional safety stations have been installed to guide tourists and road travelers throughout Dhofar. Since many people prefer to visit Dhofar by road during the Kharif season, police officials have urged motorists to follow all traffic rules strictly for their safety and that of other road users.
The Royal Oman Police have also increased safety patrols and public awareness initiatives at key tourist spots to make the Kharif season a secure and enjoyable time for everyone.
