PROCEDURES FOR FOREIGNERS ENTERING KUWAIT WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON

Kuwait City: Government sources said the detailed procedures for allowing foreigners to enter Kuwait from August 1 would be finalized within days. Airport officials and health ministry officials and is expected to announce decisions soon. Decisions are underway to increase the number of passengers currently allowed to enter Kuwait from 3,500 to 5,000. About 30 per cent of the flights will be launched in the first phase.


Only foreigners who have taken two doses of the Kovid vaccine, Pfizer, Oxford, Modena, Johnson & Johnson, approved by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, are allowed entry. Those who have been vaccinated from abroad can upload the certificate on the website of the Ministry of Health. PCR test results taken just before the trip (72 hours ago) to confirm that the corona virus is not infected and then a second PCR test within a seven-day home quarantine period. Meanwhile, the extension of the launch of commercial flights in India till the end of this month has caused confusion among expatriates. Those who have gone on holiday can return home with the permission of the Central Government.
