Kuwait: The Meteorology Department has issued a warning that Kuwait will experience hot, dry, and dusty conditions starting Tuesday and continuing through Friday, as strong northwesterly winds sweep across the country.

According to Dharar Al-Ali, Director of the Meteorology Department, the region will be affected by an extension of the Indian monsoon depression, bringing a hot air mass and winds ranging from 20 to 60 km/h. These winds are expected to raise dust, reduce horizontal visibility to below 1,000 metres in open areas, and push sea waves to heights of over six feet.

Daytime conditions will be very hot and dusty, while nights are forecast to be hot to warm, with dust gradually settling by evening. Maximum temperatures are expected to soar between 47°C and 49°C, with minimum temperatures ranging from 31°C to 34°C.

Al-Ali has advised motorists to drive cautiously, particularly on highways where visibility may drop suddenly. He also urged beachgoers to remain alert due to rough seas and residents with asthma or allergies to wear protective masks when outdoors.

The department continues to monitor the weather closely and calls on the public to stay updated and take necessary precautions during this extreme weather period.
