The operation was carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Public Authority for Industry, and Kuwait Municipality, targeting buildings and shops that failed to meet fire safety and prevention standards.
Authorities emphasized that the campaign aimed to ensure strict compliance with safety regulations to prevent fires and protect lives and property. Establishments found violating fire codes faced immediate administrative closure or were issued corrective notices, underscoring the government’s zero-tolerance approach toward negligence in safety measures.
