KUWAIT MINISTRY OF HEALTH AMENDS OXFORD VACCINE

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health has announced a revision to the Oxford Vaccine name. Earlier, only Oxford was included in the certificate. Officials said the change to the immunization certificate was due to the fact that the vaccination is known globally as Oxford AstraZeneca. Meanwhile, those who have been vaccinated so far can download the new certificate from the Ministry of Health's vaccination portal, health sources said.


Officials said the new decision was due to the fact that the Oxford AstraZeneca is not known as Oxford in many countries. The European Union (EU) has announced that it will issue a European Union Vaccination Passport to those who have fully received the Kovid vaccine.
