Kuwait City: In light of the controversy over recognizing the naming of approved vaccines in countries, some Indian workers residing in Kuwait are afraid of refusing to recognize the naming of the approved vaccine in their country, which is “AstraZeneca-Coveshield” manufactured in India, among the approved vaccines in Kuwait, knowing that it is the same as the “AstraZeneca-CoV” vaccine. In this context, the Indian ambassador to the country, Sibi George, told that the “AstraZeneca” vaccine, manufactured in India, is globally recognized, and that his country sent a batch of 200,000 doses of it to Kuwait last February. He stressed that "there is no problem in the return of Indian workers from his country to Kuwait, if their vaccination certificates mention the word (AstraZeneca) in the field of the name of the vaccine," noting that India "is considered the world's pharmacy and the largest manufactures of vaccine.
