MANPOWER AUTHORITY FROZE THE DECISION TO ALLOW CHANGE OF RESIDENCY

Kuwait City: The Manpower Authority has frozen the decision to allow change of residency of workers in some areas. The change of residency of the workers was allowed in the areas of industry, fisheries and co-operation.


The change of residency of the workers was subject to the approval of the employer. Other provisions and regulations of the Authority were also applied. Ahmed Al Moussa, director of the Manpower Authority, said the decision was taken to strengthen the market during the covid crisis. This decision was only temporary. He said the new decision would take effect from Thursday.
