IMMUNIZATIONS FOR CHILDREN STARTED

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health has announced the vaccination of children. Immunizations for children between the ages of 12 and 15 began on Sunday. Officials said they had started sending appointment details and SMS messages to registered children and more would be vaccinated in the coming days. Health experts said the vaccine did not cause any health problems for people over 12 years of age.


As the school opens next month, it aims to give two doses of the vaccine in August itself .Fizer vaccine will be given to children. The European Medicines Agency and health experts in the United States and Canada have approved the use of Pfizer vaccine in children. Health sources said that vaccination is mandatory to ensure a safe return to school and that children can be vaccinated before the start of the new school year.
