CABINET ALLOWED TWO WEEKS FOR SUBMISSION OF REPORT ON KUWAIT RAILWAY PROJECT

Kuwait City: The Cabinet has given the Kuwait Railway Project Follow-up and Implementation Committee two weeks to submit report on the project. The Cabinet has clarified the three requirements to be included in the implementation of the project.


The Cabinet Committee was informed that the project should be taken forward with efficiency and cost reduction. It is also suggested to find a contractor who will settle within the stipulated time.

At its July 6 meeting, the Public Service Committee reviewed the letter from the Supreme Council for Planning and Development General Secretariat regarding the periodic report of the Committee on Follow-up and Implementation of the Railway Project.

The Railway Project Committee report points out the importance of protecting the existing tracks of the Railways without making any changes so as not to waste public money.
