Kuwait City: The local newspaper quoted health sources as saying that the covid vaccination certificates of 18,000 expatriates registered to return to Kuwait had been accepted and 10,000 had been rejected. According to the report, most of the certificates were rejected due to technical reasons related to the type of vaccination, incomplete vaccination data, or insufficient information contained in the QR code of the certificate.

It is reported that the technical issues of the vaccination certificate in coordination with the Corona Emergency Committee will announce this week all the steps related to the return of expatriates to the country after studying the recommendations of the technical committees.

The number of people registered on the Ministry of Health's platform to check and approve the certificates of those who have received the Kovid-19 vaccine abroad is increasing day by day, sources said. At the same time, the committee is working to strengthen efforts to expedite certification. Ensure approval of certificates, which is the most important condition for allowing expatriates to return to the country.

The Technical Committee approves and rejects the Audit Technical Committee for the thousands of certificates registered on the Ministry's website. The Vaccination Certification Auditing Technical Committee implements the adoption of international health standards in the auditing and approval of certificates to conduct accurate inspections to prevent any fraud or forgery that could endanger the health and health system of citizens and residents.

Those who have been vaccinated in Kuwait (Kuwait Passenger) must register on the platform, download the Immune app, and undergo a PCR test 72 hours prior to arrival. With regard to the return of expatriates, the Covid Emergency Committee had made it clear at its meeting yesterday that there would be no change in the previous decision which was scheduled to be implemented in early August. The committee said those who have received two approved vaccines and taken the PCR test can come to Kuwait. It is reported that the meetings of the concerned committees and the concerned authorities are continuing to finalize all the arrangements.
