HUGE LOSS, SHEESHA CAFES OF KUWAIT IN DEBT

  • 01/08/2021

Kuwait City: The Kuwait Federation of Sheesha Cafe has demanded that Sheesha service be allowed in restaurants and cafes in compliance with international health precautions. It is requested that this be included in the recommendations of the expert committee facing covid before the Cabinet. Restaurants and cafes serving Sheesha services have been closed since March 2020 due to the covid epidemic. No concessions were made when everything was open.

The union points out that this has pushed the owners of cafes and restaurants into huge debt. She added that debts such as rent, bank loans and wages to workers had risen to more than one billion Kuwaiti dinars.
