KUWAIT AIRPORT ACTIVE AGAIN, RETURN OF EXPATRIATES BEGUN

  • 01/08/2021

Kuwait City: The Cabinet decision to allow expatriates who have completed vaccination to enter the country has begun to be implemented. Hundreds of expatriates returned to Kuwait on flights this morning. The first to arrive were from Turkey and Doha. Most of the expatriates today are from Arab countries, including Lebanon, Jordan and other European countries.

The expatriates were happy to be back in Kuwait. The operations at the airport were carried out in a well-planned manner following the instructions of Interior Minister Sheikh Tamar Al Ali. This makes it easier for expatriates to get in and out of the airport. The expatriates responded that the procedures were very easy and they could reach Kuwait without any difficulty.

Other flights to Kuwait today are from Dubai and Doha. At the same time, the entry of Indians is still uncertain, and it is not yet clear whether they can enter Kuwait directly or through another country. The Indian expatriates are hoping that the matter will be clarified in the coming days.
