KUWAITI POLICE SEARCH FOR BABY LION HIDDEN BY KUWAITI YOUTH

Kuwait City: Kuwaiti police search for baby lion hidden by Kuwaiti youth. When the mother found out that the Kuwaiti young man was secretly raising the lion cub at home, she forced the lion cub to be taken to the Kuwait Zoo and went to the zoo with the young lion cub. The zoo authorities then informed the police. When the police arrived, the young man passed by with the lion cub.


The young man was later apprehended by security personnel, but the young man denied that he had raised the lion cub during interrogation. Investigators believe the lion cub may have been hidden somewhere. Officials said they hoped the truth would be brought out through further questioning and that an investigation had been launched into the lion cub.
