EXPATRIATES ENTRY ALLOWED, COMPLICATIONS STILL EXIST

Kuwait City: Although the government has allowed immigrants who have been vaccinated from high-risk countries to enter the country, complications remain. The local newspaper reported that the problem now is that decisions that tightened earlier restrictions have not yet been overturned.

Complicating matters is the fact that in addition to spending 2,500 dinars to bring in a new domestic worker, 1,500 dinars must be spent on a worker trapped abroad. And the quarantine for domestic workers from high-risk countries is 28 days. The first 14 days are spent in the transit country and then at the hotel in Kuwait. For this, a Kuwaiti citizen has to spend 1,500 dinars. Referring to these matters, Member of Parliament Dr. Hamad al-Matar took to his Twitter account.
