PLANS ARE AFOOT TO OPEN SCHOOLS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Department of Education is preparing an alternative plan to reopen schools that were closed due to the covid crisis. Plans are afoot to open schools in Kuwait, with plans for a full day off and the next day off. The plan will be presented to the Cabinet after getting the approval of the Minister of Education and other concerned. This will be followed by a final decision.


Vaccination will be mandatory for students and teachers, and PCR certificates will be mandatory for those who have not been vaccinated. The proposal is to limit the number of students in each classroom to 20.

Education Minister Dr. Ali al-Mudhahf met with assistant agents to discuss the challenges facing the education sector. Plan B is also being prepared by dividing the students in a class into two. According to the plan, the students of the school will be divided into two groups. Each group can attend a full day offline class on alternate days, with only the basics currently scheduled, and the study of non-essential subjects will be postponed to the second semester.
