OCCUPANCY RATES FOR RESIDENTIAL FLATS IN KUWAIT WILL FALL BY 24%

Kuwait City: The number of vacant apartments in the country has increased by 24.5 per cent in the last four years. According to a study by the Real Estate Union, there are a total of 242,499 two-bedroom flats in the country. It has one bedroom with 90,760 flats.


There are 46,420 three-bedroom apartments. It also has 15,300 studio apartments. Only four of the 1,500 apartments have four bedrooms. About 84.5 percent of two- and three-bedroom apartments are occupied. One-bedroom apartments make up 84.7 percent of the population and studio apartments 87 percent.

Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals. The study also found that the number of vacant apartments had increased by 24.5 percent over the past four years.
