MISSILE ATTACK ON KUWAIT, NO CAUSE FOR CONCERN

Kuwait City: Iraqi military sources told the media that the missile hit a U.S. military base on the Kuwaiti border. An unidentified man fired three missiles at a U.S. military base in the port of Safwan on the Iraqi side of the border. Local media reported that people in the Abdali area had heard the blast and a related video was circulating.


Security sources in the General Administration of Border Security have confirmed that the missile attack took place on the Iraqi side, while security sources said the situation in Kuwait was "safe and sound". Sources said that they were coordinating with the Ministry of Defense and pointing out that there was a missile attack on the Iraqi side and that the situation in Kuwait was safe and that the Strike Force had been shifted to the border in anticipation of any emergency.

The Kuwaiti Army General Staff also denied the missile attack, saying the missiles had not entered Kuwait and that the Kuwaiti border was stable and secure.
