DIRECT SERVICE TO KUWAIT AFTER A GAP OF ONE AND HALF YEARS, FOUR PLANES ARRIVED IN KUWAIT FROM INDIA

Kuwait City: Direct flight service from India to Kuwait has started. Jazeera Airways flight number 1406 from Kochi landed at Kuwait International Airport for the first time this morning. After a gap of about a year and a half, Jazeera arrived at 5:30 am today with 167 passengers on board. 


Kuwait Airways Flight KAC1302 from Mumbai landed at 6:00 am and KAC 1344 from Chennai at 6:30 am. Jazeera Airways Flight 1410 from Delhi landed at 7:00 am today. The Indigo Airlines flight from Ahmedabad will arrive in the evening. 

Air India charges around 240 Kuwaiti Dinars. Kuwait Airlines charged up to 1,000 dinars for a ticket from India. According to travel agency sources, the launch of Air India service has been a great relief to expatriates and ticket prices are likely to come down in the coming days. 

Kuwait has allowed 768 daily passengers from India to enter the country on Indian and Kuwait airlines. The DGCA has also issued special instructions to those coming to the country.
