PROPOSAL TO RAISE MAXIMUM AGE OF CITIZENS TO RECEIVE EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE IN KUWAIT TO 60 YEARS

Kuwait City: The General Secretariat of the Ministry has instructed the Human Resources Authority to study the possibility of setting the maximum age of citizens to receive employment assistance in Kuwait at 60 years. 


The General Secretariat also asked the Authority to appoint a committee to review the various subsidies provided by the Ministry of Finance. The authority has been asked to comment on the matter by September 26. 

Two weeks ago, the cabinet officially commissioned the Manpower Authority to study the possibility of stopping the provision of national employment support to private sector workers with a total salary of 3,000 dinars or more.
