AUTHORITIES ARRESTED 49 STREET VENDORS IN CONNECTION WITH SECURITY CAMPAIGN IN FAKE MARKETS IN JALIB

Kuwait City: Authorities launch a security and traffic campaign at unofficial markets in the Jalib al-Shuyoukh area. The campaign was organized by the Farwaniya Governorate Security Directorate in collaboration with the Manpower Authority and the Kuwait Municipality. 


The campaign aimed to establish security control, including to find violators. 49 street vendors were arrested from informal markets. They were arrested for selling non-edible food. 

A notice was also issued to 56 people on Mohammed Abu Al Qasim Street for parking vehicles on the sidewalk. The General Administration of Relations and Security Media said security and traffic campaigns would continue.
