Kuwait City: The Minister of Commerce has decided not to renew the work permits of those above 60 years of age who do not have a university degree without paying a fee of 2,000 dinars. Abdullah al-Salman and Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid made the analysis yesterday. The two discussed solutions that have come up in this regard. The local newspaper said it had received indications that a final decision would be made soon.

In addition to the introduction of private health insurance, the minister said a fee of 500 dinars should be introduced for renewal of work permits. The proposal put forward by Abdullah Al Salman. At the same time, the Prime Minister directed that all proposals on the issue be submitted to the Cabinet Advisory Committee.

The Prime Minister's Advisory Committee expects recommendations that go hand in hand with government programs that do not affect the relevant sectors while ensuring the interest of the labor market.
