BAN ON EXPATRIATE RECRUITMENT IN MINISTRY OF HEALTH HAS BEEN LIFTED

Kuwait City: The Civil Service Commission has lifted a ban on the recruitment of non-Kuwaitis to 214 posts in the Ministry of Health. The ban on recruitment to the posts of 57 doctors, 131 nursing staff, 23 technicians and three pharmacists has been lifted. The Civil Service Commission has submitted a letter to the Ministry in this regard.


Earlier, the Civil Service Commission had directed that appointments should not be made till the expiry of the legal period for payment of salaries to those working in these posts. The CSC also directed the Ministry of Finance to retain the above posts in the budget of the Ministry of Health for the financial year 2022-2023.
