KUWAIT UNIVERSITY FIRST SEMESTER CLASSES START TODAY

Kuwait City: The first semester classes of Kuwait University will begin today. About 36,000 students are expected to attend the university today. Classes resume after a year and a half. The Acting Secretary General of the University, Dr. S.K. Mardi al-Ayyash said.


He added that special arrangements have been made in collaboration with the Ministry of Health for those who have not been vaccinated. University staff who have not been vaccinated must have a PCR test every week and produce a negative covid certificate. Those who do not receive the vaccine while visiting the university will also have to produce a certificate of PCR test taken 72 hours ago, he said.
