ABOUT 45,000 INDIANS ARRIVED IN KUWAIT AFTER AIRPORT OPENED

Kuwait City: The Civil Aviation General Administration estimates that 63 percent of Kuwait airport passengers travel to five countries. Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE and India are the five countries with the highest number of travelers from Kuwait. Of the 1.4 million passengers in the last three months, 878,000 were to these countries, according to Civil Aviation.


Most people, including citizens and residents, travel to Turkey. During the three months, 314.65 thousand passengers traveled to Turkey and from there to Kuwait. India is in the fifth position. There were 130,000 passengers between Kuwait and India. Of these, 45,000 came to Kuwait while 85,000 traveled from Kuwait to India. Statistics show that 1337 flights of seven operators were flown between the two countries during this period.
