ONE MILLION LITRES OF DIESEL STOLEN FROM KUWAIT OIL COMPANY

Kuwait City: Theft at Kuwait Oil Diesel Company is on the rise. From 2018 to February 2021 alone, there were 392 thefts. This is stated in the 2020-21 audit report. 130 diesel thefts were reported. According to the report, a total of one million liters of diesel was lost. The official price is 55,000 dinars.


Theft of electric cables is also on the rise, the report said. From 2018 to February 2021, 164 such incidents were reported. There are also 16 cases of pipe theft. So far, 25 thefts have been registered in collaboration with the concerned authorities. The company attributes the thefts to the size of the business, which is spread over a wide area.
