SOCIAL PROGRESS, KUWAIT RANKS FIRST IN ARAB WORLD

Kuwait City: Kuwait ranks first in the Arab world in the 2021 Social Progress Index. Kuwait is ranked 50th in the list. The list was compiled by the Social Progressive Imperative, a Washington - based NGO covering 168 countries. The list is based on social and environmental indicators and evaluates developments in different countries that are independent of traditional economic practices. 


Kuwait averaged 75.32 points. The UAE is ranked 67th in the world and second in the Arab world. It is followed by Oman at 85th, Qatar at 86th, Bahrain at 96th and Saudi Arabia at 105th. Norway topped the list. Finland came in second, followed by Denmark in third and Iceland in fourth.
