Kuwait City: The daily coronavirus (COVID-19) infections continue to be at an all-time high, according to Kuwait's Ministry of Health on Sunday. It urged citizens and expatriates to limit their trip outside to emergency situations exclusively, and urged visitors from other countries to follow health quarantine standards and refrain from contacting people until the quarantine period ended, the Ministry said in a statement today. The Ministry's specialist teams are closely monitoring COVID-19 patients inside hospitals and COVID-19 intensive care units, as well as following up on treatment and preventive measures throughout the country's health institutions, it added, noting that bed capacity is within the health system's capability.

It urged not to contact people if you have a runny nose, sneezing, coughing, or sore throat, or if you have a headache, fever, or exhaustion, because we all share a common responsibility for the current health conditions, and with correct collaboration, we will pass it safely, it said. Despite the fact that Kuwait has seen an unparalleled number of infections since the epidemic's onset, government sources say there is a trend toward shortening the quarantine period for those infected with the virus and those who come into contact with them.
