NO BUYERS FOR FISH IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: A number of traders at Sharq's fish market compared the present market situation to paralysis owing to the harsh cold weather that the country is experiencing these days. According to sources, the vast supply of local and imported fish resulted in a record level decline in prices, indicating that the market has become a ghost town with only a few buyers and visitors.

Under these conditions, the sellers complained about the material losses they suffered as a result of the market position, as rents have not stopped or dropped since the market's inception, and the losses totaled thousands of Kuwaiti dinars.
