AUTHORITIES RAID GARAGES IN SHUWAIK, NINE EXPATRIATES ARRESTED

Kuwait City: Authorities launch inspection campaigns in industrial areas of the country. The inspections were carried out by the Joint Five Year Committee under the supervision of Traffic and Operations, Ministry of Home Affairs. During the campaign in Shuwaik, power was cut off in 73 garages and industrial workshops for violations. Kuwaiti Municipality inspectors have issued 978 warning notices for abandoned and abandoned vehicles on the highway. 


The Commerce Ministry found violations in 56 garages and workshops. Judicial police team from the Ministry of Power cut off power to 79 establishments. Notices were posted in 33 places. Seizure reports were issued to 51 garages by the Public Authority for Industry for breach of facilities and so on. Nine expatriates have been arrested for violating residency and employment laws. The Technical Inspection Department also found 787 traffic violations during the campaign, officials said.
