1,68,000 EXPATRIATES LEAVE KUWAIT IN NINE MONTHS

Kuwait City:  In the first nine years of last year alone, 168,000 expatriates left the labor market in Kuwait, according to official figures. The figures are from January to September 2021. It is estimated that 60,400 domestic workers have left Kuwait. In addition, the government. 107,900 expatriates left Kuwait from the private sector. 


Most of the expatriates are Indians. The number of Indians in Kuwait has dropped by 10 percent. That means 48,000 workers have left the country. The total number of Indians in the labor market fell from 499,400 to 451,380. The second is the Egyptian community. Statistics show that the number of Egyptians in Kuwait has dropped by five percent.

About 25,500 Egyptians fled the country during this period. In other words, the total number of Egyptians in Kuwait has dropped from 482,000 to 456,600. Bum Gladys came in third with a drop of 6%, followed by Nepals with the fourth highest number of expatriates. The Philippines is fifth and Pakistan is sixth.
