FULLY VACCINATED PEOPLE ARE EXEMPT FROM THE PCR REQUIREMENT AND HOME QUARANTINE

Kuwait City: Kuwaiti Cabinet decided to exempt persons who are fully vaccinated against coronavirus (Covid 19) from the requirement to conduct a PCR examination before and upon arrival in the country, as well as the elimination of the home quarantine applied after arrival in Kuwait, effective February 20th.


Tariq Al-Mazram, the Head of the Government Communication Center, stated in a press conference to local media that under new travel procedures, those who are not fully vaccinated will require a 72-hour valid PCR negative test before boarding a flight to Kuwait, with a 7-day home quarantine after arrival, and to be released from quarantine before the 7-day PCR test negative.
