MUTLA HOUSING PROJECT IN THE FINAL STAGES

Kuwait City: The Mutla Housing Project in Kuwait is nearing completion. 6 residential projects are being completed. The construction work of the Mutla project is being undertaken by a Chinese company. According to the agreement, the construction of the residential city is expected to be completed by December 2019. However, construction was delayed due to Covid and the contract was extended. The N6 and N9 projects are 85 per cent complete, the N7 and N8 projects 66 per cent, the N10 73 per cent and the N11 project 64 per cent complete. 


The South Mutla Housing Scheme consists of 18,519 houses. The South Saad Al Abdullah and South Sabah Al Ahmad projects are also in progress, officials said. The Jahra Residential Urban Plan for low-income foreign workers is expected to be completed by 2023. The municipality has acquired 1,015,000 square meters of land in South Jahra for the project. Zahra Bachelor City has all the basic amenities to accommodate 20,000 male bachelors. The Mutla housing project was to be completed last March and handed over to the Public Authority.
