POSSESSION OF WEAPONS WITHOUT LICENSE IN KUWAIT, 22 CASES WERE REGISTERED

Kuwait City: In January and February, 20 people were arrested for possessing weapons without a license, according to the Criminal Security Division, which represents the General Department of Weapons Investigation. The home ministry said it had registered 22 cases of possession of unlicensed firearms. All 28 weapons were seized during this period.


There were 20 reports of weapons loss, 20 cases of expired licenses, 65 violations of firearm license conditions, and 111 firearms-related violations. A total of 256 people were arrested. Unauthorized possession of firearms and stockpiling of firearms, ammunition and explosives The action was taken on the instructions of Lieutenant General Anwar al-Barjaz, Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, to arrest violators of Law No. 6/2015.
