NEW RULE FOR CAR SHADES IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The draught revisions to the regulations on automobile shades have been accepted by the Municipal Council. Previously, Kuwait Municipality altered numerous stipulations, including prohibiting the installation of car shades in front of public squares and eliminating the obligation to get a licence for car shades on private property.


According to the laws, the height of the vehicle sunshade should not exceed four metres, private dwellings are exempt from the licencing fees, government agencies pay a one-time price of KD1 per square metre, and investment and commercial use pay KD5 per year.
