NUMBER OF PEOPLE RECEIVED BOOSTER DOSE IN KUWAIT CROSSED ONE MILLION

Kuwait City: Covid Vaccination has made great strides in Kuwait. The number of people received booster dose has crossed one million, according to the Ministry of Health. 110,500 people have taken the third dose so far. At the same time, 83.7 percent of the population, or 3,383,034 people, received the two-dose vaccine after completing the two-dose vaccination. The first dose of the vaccine was given to 3,409,165 people, or 87 percent of the population, according to the Ministry of Health website.


Vaccination in children is also progressing well. Vaccination is progressing in children between the ages of five and 11 years. So far 40,000 people in this age group have received the Covid vaccine. The figures are from February to yesterday. The ministry is preparing to give the second dose to children who have taken the first dose from the first week of April. The recommendation is to take eight weeks between two doses.
