Kuwait City: Government agencies have made significant progress in reviewing their employees' performance. The results of the job performance assessment will be utilised to determine who will earn the great performance bonus this year.

According to Civil Service Commission (CSC) sources, one of the variables evaluated in the evaluation is the employees' attendance, which is based on correspondence between the CSC and government entities. According to sources, government departments have begun evaluating their personnel, with the results being forwarded to ministers for approval. According to sources, many departments within these organisations have completed the evaluation process, while others have evaluated half of their staff.

According to sources, the time it takes to complete an evaluation varies by department, based on the number of employees and the nature of their work. According to official figures, as of the conclusion of the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2021/2022, the government had spent only 32.8 percent of the budget allocated for development projects - KD562.6 million out of KD1.7 billion.

According to data released by the Supreme Council for Planning and Development's General Secretariat, the current year's development plan included 131 projects. By the end of December 2021, 51 projects had reached the planning stage, five had reached the delivery stage, seven had not yet begun, three had been completed, and 65 were still in the implementation stage.
