KUWAIT MAINTAINS FOOD PRICE STABILITY

Kuwait City: Food prices are "stable and will not be affected by any changes," according to Minister of Commerce and Industry Fahad Al-Shuraian, who emphasised the government's "complete" commitment on the issue. 


Earlier on Thursday, at the Food Security Conference, Al-Shuraian voiced confidence in Kuwait's strategic reserve of basic food supplies as well as its national institutions, emphasising that the country's food security is "firm."

Meanwhile, Kuwait Port Authority Acting Director Bader Al-Enezi stated that port activity is "running as usual," with ships docking and unloading successfully in conformity with international norms.
