FOR COMMERCIAL VISIT VISAS, COMPULSORY HEALTH INSURANCE OF KD 20 IS REQUIRED

Kuwait City: Khaled Al-Hassan, Chairman of the Union of Insurance Companies, indicated that the government is attempting to impose mandatory health insurance on expats visiting the country on commercial visit visas.


According to Al-Hassan, the Union of Insurance Companies offered a product to cover health insurance for visitors to Kuwait with entrance advantages on a commercial visit visa, whether the visitor plans to remain for a day or a month, and if approved, the visitor will have to pay KD 20.
