27,200 EXPATRIATES LEFT KUWAIT IN THREE MONTHS

Kuwait City: In the last three months, 27,200 expatriates have reportedly returned to their home countries from Kuwait. As of December 2021, there were 1479545 expatriate workers in the workforce in Kuwait. In March 2022, it dropped to 1452344. It was found that more than 25,000 expatriates had quit their jobs and returned from the country in three months.


 The largest source of employment in Kuwait is the expatriate community in Egypt. Indians are the second largest group of expatriates. Bangladeshi nationals are in third place. Local media in Kuwait reported the incident based on figures from the Central Administration of Statistics.
