KUWAITIS IS RANKED EIGHTH IN THE WORLD IN TERMS OF REAL ESTATE PURCHASE IN TURKEY

Kuwait City: Kuwaitis were in seventh place among foreigners who bought real estate in Turkey in March. Kuwaitis bought 156 houses in March, according to data issued by the Turkish Statistical Institute. Iranians had the most properties (784), Iraqis had the second most (741), Russians had 547, Germans had 244, Kazakhs had 241, Afghans had 214, and Ukrainians had 168. In comparison to the same month in 2021, the total number of real estate properties sold to foreigners increased by 31% to 5,567. 


With 2,245 homes sold to foreigners, Istanbul topped the list of Turkish cities where real estate was sold to foreigners, followed by Antalya with 434 and the capital, Ankara, with 347. Meanwhile, real estate sales in the first quarter of this year totaled 14,344 units, up 45.1 percent from the same period the previous year. In related news, According to credible sources, the Kuwait Investment Authority's investments in Turkey's financial market (stock market) are modest, but they have been impacted by the lira's depreciation and economic difficulties, as reported by Al-Rai daily. The majority of the authority's investments in Turkey are centred on the real estate industry, they stated.
