ROAD ACCIDENT, THE GENERAL TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT SAYS 675 PEOPLE HAVE DIED IN KUWAIT IN THE PAST TWO YEARS

Kuwait City: Officials say at least 24 people have died in traffic accidents across the country in the last month. In February, 23 people died in traffic accidents. The accident was caused by speeding, negligent driving, and cell phone use while driving, according to the Department of Transportation. The majority of the victims were teenagers and young adults.


In the last two years, 675 individuals have died in traffic accidents, according to the General Traffic Department. In 2021, there were 323 unintentional deaths reported, compared to 352 in 2020. Authorities asked drivers to follow traffic laws and adhere to speed limits on the roadways.
