KUWAIT LIFTS COVID RESTRICTIONS AHEAD OF EID

Kuwait City: According to Health Ministry officials, the rest of the Covid limitations would be eased ahead of the Eid al-Fitr holiday. Sources confirm that, if required, the mask requirement must be altered, and that even individuals who do not receive the vaccine due to a negative PCR test result in closed spaces may be eligible for important concessions such as entry. 


In addition, the circumstances of quarantine and isolation will change. The conditions for entrance into the country for people who have not finished the immunisation will also change. The situation in the country, according to the Ministry of Health, is substantially better. The number of persons admitted to daily Covid cases, intensive care units, and Covid wards has also decreased. Only two people are in the intensive care unit right now. In total, there are just seven patients in the Covid wards.
