MOH CLOSES DOOR FOR 'TRANSFER' OF ITS EMPLOYEES

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health has stopped accepting transfer requests for the ministry's employees after the end of the prescribed period, which was based on the decision of the Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, who stipulates that the ministry receives requests from all employees once a year, in April.


The Ministry of Health had mandated that the request must be filed on the prescribed form, which indicates the 'from and to' location, with the consent of the concerned assistant undersecretary, and that it must be submitted during the first 15 days of April. 

The ministry has also formed a committee to investigate requests for transfers of employees between central departments and health regions, and has decided on the requests based on the work need, in accordance with the nature of health facilities, whether transferred from or to them, and in a manner that achieves equal distribution in the ministry's sectors in coordination with the concerned ministry authorities. The committee assesses how much the employee requesting the transfer will gain from the authority he is transferred to based on his/her job title, credentials, and academic certificates obtained to maintain good service performance and the interest of the task.
