1.26 MILLION PEOPLE IMMUNISED AGAINST COVID BOOSTER DOSE IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The number of people and residents receiving  Covid booster dose vaccine has crossed 1.26 million, according to the Ministry of Health. At the same time, the number of people who have completed two doses of vaccination is now surpassing 3.30 million. About 84.1 percent of the population is now fully vaccinated. The Ministry of Health said that the number of people who received a single dose of the vaccine was 3.42 million. 87.2% of the population received the first dose of the vaccine.


Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has opened a system for submitting applications for membership in the medical service team of the Kuwait Hajj Mission and the medical staff of the Hajj Campaign. The deadline for applications is May 15. The ministry said it had not been requested to send any documents related to the vaccination. Apart from registration on the official website submitted for this purpose, the ministry has also been in touch with the social media advertisement regarding vaccination, the official said.
