AMIR ACCEPTS RESIGNATION OF KUWAITI GOVERNMENT

Kuwait City: Kuwait Emir accepts resignation of Kuwaiti government The emir suggested that he remain caretaker until the next government is formed. The Amiri Diwan issued the order yesterday accepting the resignation of the government. The Emir's decision will be communicated to the National Assembly. 


Earlier, the Kuwaiti cabinet was reorganized as part of a national dialogue to improve relations between parliament and the government. The government resigned following repeated submission of criminal notices against ministers in the new government. On April 5, the Crown Prince received a letter of resignation from the Prime Minister.
